We wouldn’t last long if we weren’t. I mean, it’s definitely not because our unworldly short patience, is it? Well, I love you too and sometimes you have to know that I’m telling the truth and not just puffing your ego. Yeah you probably shouldn’t have but it’s okay if you did. I can always just put on my big girl panty and deal.
The past is the past and we should both learn to leave it behind us and I could also learn to believe a lot more of what you say about me. Even though we’ve grown up a little, I still feel like a kid. Especially when I’m around you.
I’m really glad we agreed on this. I’m probably thinking way ahead of us but still. I just don’t think it’s the best place to raise a child. Psh, you give too much credit. I probably just know a lot about demons because I have a knack for breaking the rules. And besides, you’re naturally smart. Yeah, Hawaii. It was something I wish I forgot.
Me too, I’m glad we’re on the same page. I give you enough credit, because you always deserve some praise here and there Quinn, you so a lot more than you think you do. Breaking the rules? I guess so huh. [chuckles lightly] Naturally smart is putting it the nicest way possible and for that I love you. Same here, and I probably shouldn’t of mentioned it..
Yeah. Being their mentor, it’s part of my job. I don’t really like the life there. Children grow up really fast there. They were not able to their childhood. I don’t wanna raise our future children there. Yeah, same. They want me to teach Demonology while I’m here. Only I’m teaching first years. It was my best subject when I was still studying here, they said which is funny because I hate it the most.
You can just tell the difference between kids from here and kids from Idris and there is no way in hell I’m letting our kids grow up there. You’re better at demonology than I ever was and probably ever will be, you taught me a lot and maybe that’s why I’ve ended up with 3rd years. I suppose Hawaii also had something to do with it.
Same with me. I mean, I love teaching but by the angel, I hate my job. I mean, I have to accompany each student on their First Rune Ceremony. They do it altogether like what we did when we’re in Year One. I had dealt with the creep-o-brothers more than what I did in my four years in Wings.
Are you serious? you got stuck with that job along with your other classes? that’s bad, If I could pull you out of that, I would. Those brothers were in my nightmares for weeks. I just have to deal with grading training sessions but I got a notice from head of department the other day and I might have to take Demonology up with 3rd year students. Apparently my experience with demons gives me a higher rating in knowledge, which is bullshit.
Yeah, well, being unproductive is like our favorite hobby, really.
It really is [smiles softly] I’d rather be be unproductive with you than to actually mark papers.
I’ll probably get arrested for giving birth to them and they will probably have you undergo vasectomy. That would be the best time to run away to Japan and disguised as Japanese with glamour. Should we start learning the Japanese language?
[He laughs at her small jokes and runs his hands up and down her back softly] I don’t think there could ever be a better time to start learning, but you know us, we’re a tad unproductive.
I guess, it is safe to say that she’s the biggest winner in this situation. [She giggled as their noses brushed together. ] I think we will not have many. The world can’t hane way too many mini stubborn and sarcastic assholes in this world.
She definitely is. I think the world would literally end if we had too many mini versions of ourselves running around ruining everything.
[She wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling as he looked up at him. ] Yeah, well, I’m like the daughter she never have so you know, you just have to deal with it babe. She really does but I hope she don’t mind if I want one of our kids to have your light brown eyes and your upturn nose.
It’s true, I think she always secretly wanted a daughter. So now she can have both and possible grandkids. And that all depends on how many.. [He smirks, rubbing his nose against hers.] Who knows, we can have one with your beautiful blue eyes and one with my eyes and an upturned nose.
Yeah. That might be a little true. Your mother and I have a very special bond, you know that. [She chuckled and brushed the tip of her nose on his chin. ] Kidding. But you know, your mum just loves everything and everyone you love. And she wanted her future grandchildren to have blue eyes like mine so there’s that.
[He laughs softly wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her in closer, leaning his chin in as she nuzzled her nose against it] You guys do have a special bond and to be honest, I’m quite jealous. I have an amazing mother and I’m grateful for it. There is that, don’t worry, she’s already got our lives planned for us. [chuckles]
